Doing Business In (DBI) Program

The Doing Business in (DBi) Program is a distinctive component of the HKUST MBA experience. This self-funded, short-term international program, offered in partnership with leading overseas business schools, allows you to explore global business landscapes firsthand while earning academic credit for HKUST. Program destinations vary annually - in 2024, students traveled to Australia, Germany, Finland, China and Berlin. 

During the DBi Program, you'll engage in various activities arranged by hosting schools, including classroom lectures, group projects, company visits, and cultural excursions. This immersive experience enhances your global business acumen and cross-cultural leadership skills through direct exposure to diverse business environments and cultures.

HKUST-Yale Dual Degree Program
Enhance your global credentials by combining the HKUST MBA with Yale's Master of Advanced Management (MAM). After completing your core MBA courses at HKUST, eligible students can apply to Yale's MAM program. Up to 10 Yale credits can count toward your HKUST MBA, allowing you to earn two prestigious degrees from leading business schools.
Note: Yale maintains a separate admission process and program fees. Students must complete the HKUST MBA before graduating from Yale's MAM program
Disclaimer: The exchange program promotes cultural and international exposure; therefore, some of our partner universities do not allow visiting students to return to their home country during the exchange program. Partner universities reserve the right to defer to the government and to public health authorities regarding the exchange program. Should the need arise, a remote, virtual exchange program may be offered. All exchange program offerings and arrangements (virtual or physical classes) are subject to change and availability. 

Participation in an exchange program requires students to meet minimum academic standards and be in good standing with the HKUST MBA program. Additionally, some partner schools have specific requirements regarding students' backgrounds, English proficiency, professional certifications, and more. Students must adhere to the requirements set by the exchange school.
